Yes it accepts user ID, Please use this shortcode
[avatar_upload user = ID]
You only need to insert the User ID along with a shortcode.

In the back-end, you can see the local avatar applied to the edit profile section. This same avatar will be seen on a front-end so if you are displaying gravatar than Gravatar will display in both frontend and backend and similar to Local Avatar. This is not possible to display gravatar on the backend and local avatar on the frontend.Thanks

You can use any custom marker according to your need. Right now marker size is 32 *37px. That’s not possible. if you need big size marker then you have to apply a custom marker.Thanks

No placeholders are not possible in the free version. To display the custom information you have to migrate to the PRO version where you can display so many custom information as per your need.
No this is not possible to add the custom marker by your users in this plugin. Only admin can add the custom marker on the map.
