I did get the moderator’s trackback. I can’t send them though. I didn’t update to a beta first, so it isn’t that.

A number of people, including me, can’t get outgoing trackbacks to work with 2.0. I regret having upgraded for that reason.

Mine doesn’t work either. I wish I hadn’t upgraded.
THere are other threads on this–try searching on “trackback”.

I’m another Dreamhost customer who can’t send trackbacks after being able to with 1.5. I know too little to help, though.

Yes, I opened the categories menu. Above it, I just see the Post Slug menu. My installation must have gone wrong somehow.

Well, I hadn’t meant to start a thread without searching, but I can’t figure out how to delete my empty post, so I’ll put in something substantive:

How is the big new feature in 2.0 of adding categories while writing posts supposed to work? I expected some box labelled “Add a new category ” next to the list of categories to check off for a post, but I don’t see anything like that.
