Just an update / workaround for this issue.
I have added some Event Attributes to use instead of trying to pull the info from the Your Details section of the [event-form}
Example:
I created the following Event Attributes
#_ATT{Event Contact Person}
#_ATT{Event Contact Email}
#_ATT{Event Contact Phone}
These Attribute short codes can now be used in the Events / Settings / “Formatting” and “Emails” tabs
