Thank you so much. I tested it and it looks great.
Updated the brute force Rename Login Page.
Hopefully that fixes it.
Thanks
No, but I will do that now.
Thanks, this feature has been enabled since installing WP-Security which was a long time ago.
Any other recommendations? I find it odd that a very complicated username can be found and someone is trying to get into our account with it. The password is also complicated but I think they will keep trying.
That is unfortunate. Thanks for the feedback.
Much appreciated.
Following Up, is there a solution to the original issue?
Let me clarify: all users, except Admin, Register through a membership plan and log into our system via that membership plan login.
We just have people trying to log into the site using fictitious accounts. So far they haven’t been able to login, but they keep trying. Particularly from the site mentioned.
So, no issue with the wp-admin login.
We need people to be able to log into our site and to register for the site.
We just don’t want to have people trying to log into someone else’s account.
I use the Login Lockdown feature for this particular email address, but I would like to stop all login attempts from the @….
The issue isn’t someone trying to use the wp-admin login page, but rather guessing their way into signing up for the site rather than actually signing up.
My only concern with the renaming of the wp-login is the message about being locked out of the site. That would not be good.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] File PermissionsI spoke with the hosting company about this.
They are looking into it and I will send more information once we get something more definitive.
