I thought the order would auto “complete” when it is paid. Once the payment is made, the shop owner doesn’t want — or need — to do anything else. The order is finished. With downloaded products, that’s what happens.

How do I get virtual orders to immediately be marked “complete” and send the confirmation email without having to manually change the status? Do we have to set up all virtual orders as download products? If so, are we required to have a download file or can that be blank?

I disabled all the plugins you requested. I also disabled the WooCommerce Cart Abandonment plugin. Disabling the plugins did not solve the problem.

The reason I disabled the Cart Abandonment plugin is that in the order notes, completed orders always show that the order was abandoned and then recovered. Regardless of whether it was or not.

We do use an offline payment option for virtual products. The checkout process behaves the same as the credit card checkout process for virtual products.

I’m asking if I can store the files that are for sale as digital downloads on the CDN. And then have all the other site files on my local host. Basically, I’m asking if I can use a CDN similar to cloud storage for the downloaded files. For other business reasons, I can’t use an actual cloud storage for the files so I’m wondering if only downloadable files on the CDN will behave correctly with WooCommerce.

I haven’t tried it yet. One more question, is it possible to only use the CDN for the digital downloads and not use the CDN for the rest of the store / site?

I changed the MediaFire link to a direct download and that didn’t change anything. In A WooCommerce order, it still downloaded the MediaFile page.

The product had been published for about 2 days.

Hello. The code did not work. I added it directly to the functions file in the child theme.

May I ask how the Icegram plugin knows if a post/product is “old”? It looks like that information is not recordecd in an Icegram table in the database so what data is the plugin looking at?

I have republished the product multiple times. I’ve changed it from ‘published’ to ‘draft’ and back to ‘published’ by using the quick edit feature. I’ve changed the status by going to the product itself and editing it. I’ve changed some text. I’ve changed the status to draft, logged out, and waited a few hours before changing it to published. I’ve deleted the report that was generated from the first notification. I’ve also changed the list that the auto-notification uses.

It is a WooCommerce store. The notification was created by using the drag and drop method. All the plugins, themes, and WordPress core are up-to-date.

On my lapttop (Windows, Firefox), Age Gate only scrolls with the up/down arrow buttons. It doesn’t scroll with the mouse or touch pad. I don’t think people use the arrow buttons much so that isn’t very useful. I just checked with Chrome and it scrolls fine with a touchpad.

Firefox on an Android phone doesn’t scroll at all.

So it looks like the problem is only happening with Firefox. Any ideas?

The site uses the Divi editor/theme.

I am having the same problem that this post originally asked. Authorize.net is approving or denying the payment. But this plugin is not updating the order status correctly in WooCommerce. It is either remaining in “processing” or it moves to “pending”.

I’ve checked the logs and the orders that are not updating correctly are not in the logs. They are missing.

If this issue cannot be fixed soon, I’ll use a different plugin.
