I see that Apache died on one of the systems that was hanging.

I did a re-update, and it did not display any errors I could see. (The screen went to the Welcome to WordPress 4.3 very quickly.)

Should I be OK now without re-installing everything?

I closed the window and requested an update without doing an updraft+ backup first, and it seemed to work. I did, however, get the following message:

It just failed again with the following error message:

A fatal error occurred during profiling: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 49893 bytes) in file /replicated/www/wp-content/plugins/ubermenu/includes/menuitems/UberMenuItem.class.php on line 260

I set the “capability” setting to “read” and registered a new user as a “Subscriber”. The new user was able to access the settings page.

How did you figure out the dimensions of the image area on the screen?

(1196 X 325)?
