I’ve deleted the “placeholder” theme, and other plugins. Here’s my current situation.

https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca is blank. Nothing at all appears when I type that URL. https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home is working exactly the way I want the homepage to look like.

Seeing as though I’m a noob at this, and have no idea how to get https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home to replace https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca, I still need some help.

Any advice?

I’ve changed the themes, reset the plugins, played with the site names, yet still https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca is a white screen…

Changing the URL directly in the database

Alright, I changed both of them to https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca

Now, both https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca and https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home are blank, and no content is visible anywhere on either of the two links…

Any ideas on what I’ve done wrong?

This must be annoying answering this, but what exactly is a .htaccess file, and how do I add that redirect?

I’m aware how to get into my WP database, but i’m not sure about much at all past that…

I got a domain with https://www.name.com, and host it through https://www.hostgator.com.

In a perfect world, when someone types https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca, they will see the page https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home.

And Through my Hostgator’s cPanel, I added wordpress through there, and have access to my dashboard through https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/wp-admin.

I don’t know if that helps, but thanks anyways.

Well, I was looking through mountains of forums, and I found some info that told me to keep the WPaddress the same, and change the site address to https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home

Is this the reason why https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca is blank?

I just changed the theme to EvoLve, and then another theme… They all change the https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca/home display, yet https://www.entrepreneurfactory remains blank…

I have one blog post called “Welcome”. This post lets people know when the site launches, and info like that.

Should under Settings->Reading it look like this, then the site’s main post is missing.
Front page: — Select
Posts page: — Select

Should it look like this,
Front page: – Welcome
Posts page: — Select

The “Welcome” Post is seen, but https://www.entrepreneurfactory.ca is still blank…

I have:
wordpress address (url): https://entrepreneurfactory.ca
site address (url) : https://entrepreneurfactory.ca/home
