I’m surprised this needs to be solved like this… I was expecting a proper solution without the need to touch any htaccess manually or risk going in a redirect loop.

don’t shout on the developers, they spend time to deliver good software, without asking money back at users. So be kind and let them answer when they’ve got a little time. It’s not a commercial product, and most of us developers do other jobs for living.

So be kind and wait for a solution to it, or switch to another plugin, unless you’re not willing to pay for a custom work by a professional.

Nope, tried it as well.
Try the simpliest way: create a html file named with what google generates, and nothing written inside it, just name an empty file (use some editor, wordpad is ok) to what google gives you (something like google234u234232345.html or about), put it under your root blog and than everything will be fine. Just read more :).

Yep, the server didn’t allow that obviously…

The problem is the author released itas an update for the 2.6 version. TOday I upgraded to the WP 2.6, and it all went fluent…except for nggallery: remained the same even after this! Now this is really strange, can’t figure out where and what to change in the code.

I CANNOT delete the gallery and install it again. It’s not the way how it should be. There must be a fix to this…

jerryzurek, that’s a FLICKR peace of code :). NextGen gallery has NOTHING to do with it. It you want nextgen gallery there, you should try the widget, maybe repeating the widget 6 times with the same flickr proportions to fit it, or prepare a slideshow with the same whole width dimension.

Maybe you have the problem of many others with permalinks :).

Try to do a search on “cgi.fix_pathinfo”.

For instance, if you’re on a dedicated host, modify the php.ini file and add cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1

Otherwise, create a php.ini file, add that row in there and put it on your root address.

Same problem here like NickOg… and plus I get a 500 error on the edit area of an article, when i try to click to NextGen.desc button to insert a gallery… has something change on the last update?

Try enabling the $ShowDegubInfo var at the top of pagemash.php

I did update it, yes, and I think it came after it…but I have another exact copy of my website on another database, and it works ok…that’s strange!!!

I use wordpress 2.5.1 so far and pagemash 1.1.3

first pagemash worked ok, but now it doesn’t want to go…it keeps sayint “Error: Update Timeout” and it doesn’t save the page positions. Any idea?
