In reply to: Login/Registration Plugin???Nope it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. “Members Only” redirected all users to the login page; it didn’t show the homepage at all, let alone just part of a post. Back to the drawing board!

In reply to: Login/Registration Plugin???I’m going to try this one:

I just found it in the plugins database.
I’ve bookmarked it for further investigation later.

In reply to: Usage of this PluginI’m looking for just the same kind of code, plugin or widget. I want the user to click the “read more” link at the bottom of the blog entry on the front page. Then, one of a few things happen:
(a) if the user is not registered, s/he is asked to do so;
(b) if the user is registered, but not logged in, s/he is asked to log in to the site; or
(c) if the user is registered and logged in, s/he is sent to the full blog post.Any thoughts?

In reply to: Login/Reg IssueAny other advice on this?
I am using the Advanced Registration plugin, which works just fine. The only issue, of course, is that anyone can view the posts through the “read more” link – without having to login or register. I want registered Members only to be able to view the rest of the post.
Thanks in advance for all your help!

In reply to: Login/Reg IssueSo when a user clicks the “read more” link at the bottom of a post, this solution will cause him/her to have to enter a password for a password-protected post. Is that right?
Close, but not quite what I’m looking for. I don’t want to have to provide passwords for individual posts. Instead, when the “read more” link is clicked, I want one of two things to happen: either
(a) the unregistered user is asked to register in order to view posts, or
(b) the registered user is asked to login to view the rest of the post.Does that make sense? Let me know if you come across something that will help me do that.
Thanks for the info though!
