So, it only affects the server side caching?

    Hey guys,

For anyone coming to this thread to inform the author about the same issue, please be informed that the author’s website for this plugin also has the same problem.

    Check here:
    https://www.wpserveur.net/wp-admin
    https://www.wpserveur.net/wp-login.php
*** Keep an eye on the browser address bar while visiting the plugin author’s website.

Most importantly, he has been aware of this issue for a very long time. So, since this is a free plugin, you can either wait for him to release an update, use another plugin, or hire a developer.

Wow. Are you serious right now?

I mean, why it is so hard for you to understand that there are people who also knows that WPS Hide redirects users to 404 by default and this plugin also offer an option to set custom redirect. If someone(logged out users) tries to visit “wp-admin” and “wp-login.php” page they will be redirected to that page.

Now, do I have to educate you about your plugin?

From the beginning, you have been acting weird. Well, I am marking this issue as resolved because I am not going to use this plugin anymore. However, thanks for your replies. You tried hard to understand the issue yet failed. No worries.

https://zero.example-io.com/wp-admin is getting redirected to https://zero.example-io.com. But https://zero.example-io.com/wp-login.php is not getting redirected to https://zero.example-io.com.

    Login URL: https://zero.example-io.com/sign-in
    Username & Password: wpshide

It’s a freshly installed WordPress instance. There’s no plugin or custom code.

“wp-admin” is redirecting to “404” but “wp-login.php” is displaying a message saying there’s nothing found but this page is not a 404 error page. So, it is not redirecting to 404 and also the URL in the address bar is not updating.

    Hello Robert,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me. However, it seems my previous explanation may not have been clear enough. Let me make another attempt to convey my question.

“Pretty Links” auto-generate slugs for selected post types. Well, in that case, the plugin uses a set of characters “0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz”.

However, I want the plugin to generate slugs automatically but it should use my custom character set. For example, “acemnorsuvwxz”.

Moreover, I don’t want to change the slug manually as you suggested. I hope my query is clearer now.

Additionally, if it is not possible to achieve this by using the free version, I would love to purchase the pro version.

Apart from that, I love Pretty Links.

    Hi there,

I figured it out. Now it’s working.

However, do the ESI-enabled shortcodes [esi shortcode attribute=”value” ttl=”0″] work on a WordPress website powered by CyberPabel + OpenLiteSpeed?

Because as far as I know ESI is not available on OpenLiteSpeed.

I use ESI to exclude the shortcodes and prevent them from caching.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will try and investigate further. I will get back here, please don’t close the thread.

Yes, I can see that too. But it is not returning with data. It’s weird. Do you have any advice or suggestion for me?

My goal is to display author meta in the frontend using shortcode using ESI.

Unfortunately, It doesn’t work. I tried it yesterday and I just tried it a few seconds ago.

    Hi there,

I did what you asked. And the result is, when I use the shortcode without ESI, I get the user(author) info extracted correctly in my debug.log file. But when I use ESI in shortcode I see:

    Thanks for the quick reply.

So, I don’t need to add any A and AAAA record. I just need to add a CNAME record with the value provided by the QC.

    (@engrrajonahmed)

    Thanks for the reply.

But what I don’t understand is that currently, I have A, AAAA, and a CNAME(www.tuts) record. Now If I want to enable the QC, I will have to remove all 3 records and add only one CNAME record pointing it to the QC. But how is it going to work?

    Domain: tuts.domain.com
As you can see I use a subdomain for my site.
