And we would suggest you please build the page by using the AMP Page builder.

why you are trying to check by entering the ?amp along with “/” as it will not work.
Please note that Google will check for the “amphtml” link in the page and it will automatically take that link see this screenshot: https://take.ms/C5sEw
There is no need for you to check by entering the ?amp.

Please disable the option of AMP-takeover in the Settings->general and you will be able to see the AMP only for the Mobile and your desktop will have the Normal theme.

I have checked the image that you are using, actually, the image is width can be increased by using the CSS but you have to target the parent element then only you can implement the changes.
by the way the image is fit in the screen of the Mobile and what you are trying to achieve by increasing the width in AMP?
If you want to do so then you can target the parent element in the CSS.
