I took the steps above and changed all 4 .htaccess files. I still get the message that frontpage extensions aren’t installed. I could reinstall fp extensions but I’m afraid it will blow out my current .htaccess with all urls working. Any thoughts on this? thanks.

I think you are right, especially about the lack of contrast. I made a few changes, mainly the link color. It seems to liven it up more.

Not sure about the 80% content width idea though. I’ve wondered why blog content widths tend to be narrower than regular site content widths.

Nevermind. I made .htaccess writable and updated via permalinks.

Themes are working now! Can you point me in the right direction for updating .htaccess? Thanks a bunch.

When I go to themes, I see this:

“The active theme is WordPress Default. The template files are located in . The stylesheet files are located in .”

If I click on Theme Editor, I get:

“The requested theme does not exist.”

Any idea what that might mean?

This works perfectly to remove the list!

Anyone know if there’s a way to get rid of the line breaks so the cats can go across the header horizontally?
