We fixed this. For us it was caused by our caching software fastest cache that has a relatively new feature – “Create the cache of all the site automatically” – we switched this feature off (keeping the rest of the settings) & wiped the cache and all works ok now. For us, it was working for logged in members as we had caching switched off for them. We also had to go into the icegram settings and turn on something called “lazy load”
I’m having a similar problem with tabs. See homepage where works and film festival page where doesnt work – same tabs should be showing but only works for members (i.e. logged in) and doesn’t change no matter what settings we try.
I’m also getting the same error code in line 181: ‘wp-content/plugins/icegram/icegram.php’ – the front end of the site is https://discover.film – you will see no errors are showing on the front and the icegrame popups etc are working ok.

In reply to: [WPSOLR - Elasticsearch and Solr search] Relevance of search resultsThat would be brilliant!
ok, I’m closing the ticket and will start new ones.
A quick update on the above – the faceted search is working correctly – it is because my data isn’t very well populated for one of the facets. I experimented with a more searching and it is working. I think the search results are also searching correctly but the issue is perhaps with the filter on the left as it is ranking the results by newest rather than by relevance of the search. Can this filter be removed?
I’ve come across another issue (as well as the issue with faceted search not showing 1 of the custom taxonomies even though it’s an index option and the odd search results). I occasionally get this error message when searching (it’s happened twice and each time is on a second search):
Solr HTTP error: HTTP request failed, error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure
Maybe it’s the syntax but we want a way of people searching only “Sales Director” (words next to each other) as well as “sales” or “director” or both. At the moment the returns are not what you would want for “Sales Director” if you wanted entries with that job title in the text (the first return is heavily weighted by word ‘Director’ for example). In terms of relevance, there are many more entries in the index with a higher density of both words together (and apart). Maybe we haven’t understood how the search works – is there a guide to the syntax (for example, what needs to be typed in to treat “Sales Director” as a single string)? I hope this makes sense.
Yes, but not in the public domain as the results are confidential. Is there an email address I can send it to?
Thank you for the quick reply. It’s great to hear that you are working on 3,4 & 5.
With regards to 1 & 2, the relevant search box is on the following url, which lists CV search on wolf. Take a look at results for this search
https://wolftalent.com/search-cvs/?search=sales+director
The first result is not the most relevant (and seems to only be looking at Director for example)
You won’t be able view it without logging in, as the search is protected by membership/subscription. I’ve set you up with a test account. Could you email me at emma @ wolftalent.com and I’ll send you your username and password. Login and then go to search-cvs (either directly or bottom link after log-in)
