i went and created my file again, added my details and imported it, but i’m really having trouble getting what i want. i got past the import error i was having above, but am still having issues getting it set up.

i have 45 posts in my custom post type, each has a featured image and an incorrect title. i want to change the title, and add all the details, including the custom fields for the post type from the import file. there are no new rows in my database. despite this, the import creates 15 new cpt posts and skips 30 records. when i paged through the import checking screen, it looked fine all the way to the last record.

is there a way to match on post id such that it looks at the post id and replaces the field info for the same post id in the spreadsheet? it keeps asking me to define a post id, which i have tried setting to the first in the list but that doesn’t give the expected results. the title and the description are both changing so i can’t use either of those options for matching.

i was annoyed by this too. i think the recent update may have fixed it. did you download the latest version?

once i changed my php version to 7.1 (from 5.4 eek!) it worked.

i got a white screen on one site, the line 49 error on another. different hosts.

eta 3 sites stayed up though!

oh! nevermind, i un-archived them, re-built the list and then archived them again and they appear with the pagination. sometimes i just have to ASK for help.

hmm. i take it back now it’s not working again. it no longer seems to be picking up the posts. i tried to adjust my list to include pagination and it stopped working. *sad horn*

what’s odd is, if i put the shortcode in a new wordpress page, the page shows nothing, if i put the shortcode in the elementor pro shortcode block, i can see the posts in the elementor editor, but still not on the website.

yikes! say it ain’t so. i love your plugin. i would be happy to contribute or purchase a developers’ license.

yes, it mostly works. it shows the words ‘sorry no posts were found’ above the posts that are archived. lol. but we’re close. i can hide that error with css. thanks tom. do you have a premium version of this plugin? ??

never mind that last bit, i had to publish them to get the categories to show up as they are the only posts so far. so…. only my first question applies.

to try to get around it temporarily, i went to add ‘archive’ as a posts category to try to display them that way, (tho the artist really wants it as a status, not a category) and am unable to see it as a category either in wp-show-posts. https://imgur.com/a/pMdSGr8

and to upload new ones to be included? how do i attach an image in the media library to a page? just uploading it puts the image on the page, not into the slider.

how do i find them in my admin? how can i see the attachments to my home page?

I’m using last version of WordPress, the last version of InfiniteWP (requieres the client) and version 2.3.1 of your plugin.

I’m not going to clone or anything like this because is a problem caused by your poor decisions.

me too. what you are doing is ADVERTISING your pro version. honestly this seems like a ploy to get unknowing users of the free version to purchase an upgrade. i believe you’re not supposed to advertise upgrades in the plugin listing admin page, only UPDATE notification. i thought these types of invitations are supposed to be limited to the screens produced by your plugin.
