It was not how it was behaving before. It did get stuck on vertical after the page finished loading. Right now it is back to what you experience also, making me wonder how it has such a temporary nature.

For now I will close the thread and come back to it when the issue occurs again and persists.

It does seem to be a temporary issue that turns on and off. In case you see a horizontal alignment what could cause the issue that it changes layout from time to time?

Hello, yes this was very helpful! The stories do display nicely now.

One further issue we now face is the customization of the buttons text from ‘default view’ to anything else like ‘click to get to the review.’

Guessing it needs a custom CSS of sorts, any chance you could provide us with the proper process to alter button texts of added stories via shortcode?

All that was done was create a segment and added shortcodes.

It seems the blackscreen issue is resulting from the webstories widget. When they are added as shortcode it works.
How can we get the widgets working?

Hi, the web story is now loading as I managed to get rid of the CORS issue but it is not displaying the featured image in the sidebar. Instead it says default view in a link. How do I resolve this.
