Thanks Lester for your quick answer. The set up was correct, a backup every day. I installed the wp-crontrol plugin that you suggested and saw nothing out of the ordinary there. The backups have stopped about a couple of hours ago, I’ll keep monitoring the situation and let you know if anything comes up.
