Ok. Please let me know as soon as you can perform the testing, hopefully you will figure something out ??
I will wait your feedback.Kreg,
Understood. The success message so far is very simple : “OK”. So I do not see a way to simplify it even more at this stage ??
I’m happy if you can take a closer look to help me with this, because people signing the petition get confused. How do we proceed? What do you recommend?
Thank you!
Hello Kreg,
Thanks, I appreciate the quick response.
Indeed, it seems that the WP Mail SMTP plugin is helping people to receive the confirmation email. We just installed it so we will see how it goes. Hopefully, everyone will get the email ??
There is still something important we need to fix and I haven’t mentioned it clearly previously so this is where I need your help:
The “sign now” button is working as you already know since it does enable sending the email. However, we are clearly missing the notification message when people register.
What I mean is that people enter their 1st name, last name, email and then when they click on the button, they do not see anything happening, as if it didn’t work.
Is there any way there could be a confirmation message so they know something happened and they will receive the email?I hope you can help ??
Emilie
Hello Kreg,
Thank you so much for this great plug in! We installed Speak up! Email petitions on our blog (WordPress version 3.3.1) but unfortunately we’re having a couple of issues we have been unable to fix:
– when people click on the button ‘sign now’, there is no confirmation message : nothing happens
– and then : some people will receive the confirmation email, some will not. Many people commented below the petition to let us know they’re frustrated as they never received the email to be able to confirm their signature. Neither in their trash or spam box… Even when they try with different email adresses…As of now, we have 304 people who signed up for the petition, but only 183 were able to confirm when receiving the email.
Our petition is available there : https://www.tendance-allaitement.fr/?p=366#disqus_threadDo you have any clue of how we could proceed to solve this?
Many thanks for your help!
