HELP!

After downloading the database from https://www.A.com you need to edit any text that is https://www.A.com and change it to https://www.B.com. Just open it up in notepad and do a Ctrl+F and Replace with. You may need to carefully scan after this edit to make sure you didn’t miss anything. Sometimes a site may not have the www in the database fields. After this replace upload your new database to https://www.B.com.

I noticed that I do not have a htaccess file. Is this the problem?

If so what do I need to do to get this custom permalink to work? The codex (which I don’t fully understand) states that in previous versions of WP using %postname% was not recommended, but maybe okay for versions after 2.2.

Also when I created a custom permalink structure was wordpress supposed to create the htaccess file? If this is the case, maybe I have a permission issue that needs resolved first.

Thanks much! You are correct. I deactivated the obfuscate email plugin and the table works fine in FireFox. It also displays something like “Showing 1 to 10 of 24 entries” at the bottom of each table. IE doesn’t display this. Any suggestions on how to fix this in IE?

Also now that the obfuscate plugin is disabled any suggestions on other email obfuscate options?

Note: this only happens through the Flash interface. If I turn that off I can upload images, but only one at a time.

I figured out how to limit the number of posts. I’m just not sure about limiting the number of characters.
