Hi Craig,

I’ve tried using the blue button to refresh the token, but this doesn’t seem to be working. No, I haven’t used it in another app. The access token was generated when I first started using the plug-in and I haven’t had any problems with it until the last couple of days. The Instagram feed is working intermittently, but just stopped working again a few minutes ago!

Thank you very much for your response. My hosts are insistent that there is a problem with WordPress Heartbeat and the ajax process – when you say it is likely a server issue, do you mean some kind of misconfiguration on their end? It has only started since the new year, and I changed nothing before it happened – the amount of traffic I’m getting is not unusual for my website, either!

Just in case anyone else finds this thread and has the same problem – I fixed it last night.

It was an issue with the Responsive Images functionality in WordPress 4.4. I don’t know why it caused the issues with my website in particular, but disabling it has stopped images appearing blurred on iPad retina screens.

That’s a good point. The browser seems to be Safari at the moment but I’ll ask people to try chrome and see if the issue is replicated there.

Thanks, I just tried that as well and can’t replicate it either. :/ I will try and borrow someone’s ipad and post better screenshots of the issue.

No, I’m aware that that one is blurry (they are not pictures I’ve taken)! Apparently images like this one are blurry on the page but fine when you click them
