In reply to: [Simple Website Banner] New Error – Warning@joliver64, deleting the plugin and never using it again…
Wordpress plugin support has generally been crap. Haven’t had a solution to the few topics I’ve posted. I guess that’s what I get for using low end plugins.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Cannot change admin emailUmm. Is there going to be a fix to this or not?? I am using the plugin up to date as of June 2020. This trouble was submitted over 6 months ago. Am I going to have to delete this plugin for lack of troubleshooting? If I cannot update my admin email on WordPress this plugin is rendered useless.
Hello @wfdave. I was able to access the admin after renaming the plugin via cpanel. I then changed the name back and still no issues getting in. The plugin does however say after a scan it is not able to properly identify IP. So I followed the instructions on general settings and checked my IP and it still does not match. I have tried every setting for Wordfence checking IP and all display the wrong IP and the error on the scan persists. One point of concern is for at least a month now an IP address has been trying to brute force login to admin but gets blocked by the plugin. Over 300 attempts a month so I dropped the attempts to 5 before lock out. The concerning thing is that that IP address is what shows when I change the way the plugin sees IP addresses. The IP displayed is not mine but the one who has been attempting login. Please help!
I have followed your advice as the same thing happened to me, but I have one question. This gets me into the site, but it is pointless to keep the Wordfence plugin off as it defeats the purpose of it. What do you suggest I do to stop the site admins from being locked out as well as fixing the problem now?
