I downloaded your Check Email plug-in, and I am still not able to receive emails from my site.

I see that you developed the Check Email plug-in, where you write: “…with so many people having trouble with email I expect this plugin to cause lots of questions and feature requests.”

My only request would be that Voucher Press works, and that the Email Check perhaps be built-in to Voucher Press so that email issues could be resolved.

I do appreciate your work and your time but I guess I will have to give up.

VoucherPress isn’t working, and Check Email did not solve the issue either.

1. the code was incorrect. I called my ISP and they provided the correct code, which was:

Redirect 301 /index.html https://www.e-girlfriday.com/blog

that worked!

HELP with audio player in sidebar!

My client has asked me to update her blog: https://www.womenonair.biz/blog

the client emailed me a new mp3 file to replace the current one that is at the top of the right sidebar. Where do I put the mp3 file, and how do I place it into the code in the right sidebar.php file so it will show up in right sidebar??

Here is the current code in the right sidebar .php file:

Update:

I was able to restore my blog back to WordPress version 2.2.

Whew.

However…I STILL need to upgrade to 2.6. Mostly because I need the Event Calendar plug-in, which requires WordPress 2.5+ to work and other plug-ins that I would like to add.

SO:

What does one need to do, BEFORE UPGRADING TO 2.6, to prevent losing Categories with the upgrade?

I can’t go thru this again! Surely there must be a way to upgrade SAFELY and EASILY without the nervous breakdown!

Can someone help out with this, please???

I am not a code person. OK, I goofed, too. I did not download a back up to my computer ’cause the ISP’s cpanel says that a backup DOES exist and I COULD revert back to that OLD version if I go thru all this complicated coding stuff.

SO, rather than drive myself crazy with all of that, instead…..I’ve gone into the WP ADMIN, and re-created my Categories. There were only four. And I will re-assign each post the newly created Categories.

so far, so good….

BUT: I’ve lost my “Uncategorized” category

is this a problem?

do I NEED that automatic “Uncategorized” category to exist??

I need to add a widget (Event Calendar) to my client’s existing right sidebar at: https://www.womenonair.biz/blog

A previous designer set up the static/custom right sidebar that is there now.

I’d like to simply drag the Event Calendar to that sidebar in the widget panel, but when I do, I lose the existing sidebar.

How do I just ADD the widget to the sidebar that is there? I’d like to place it where the graphic is located (under the email form).

Would appreciate any help.
