Hello everyone,

There is a known bug that we are patching in our next major release 4.5. Just a quick fix until we get this update out. If you don’t have pagination set up could you enable that to see if the timer appears. The timer is still working its just hidden.

So, you want the image displayed and then several multiple choice questions to follow? If that is the case then the best way to do that is with our text block. It is a non graded question type but it is good for displaying text or images outside of the actual question framework.

We apologize for the delayed response. While logged into the Internet Explorer version of your WordPress site lets try a few troublshooting techniques. It could be that another plugin is conflicting with your quiz in the Internet Explorer environment.

Switch to the default theme such as Twenty Fifteen, does your problem still persist?

De-activate all other plugins, does your problem still persist?

If that solves the problem, re-activate your plugins one at a time and test if the problem re-appears. If so, let us know which plugin caused it.

The best way to accomplish the sections that you want is to set up pagination. So say if you have 5 math questions that will be in the entire math section. You could have all of those questions listed together and then set pagination set to 5 so that one section is displayed. It won’t quite work if you want different numbers of questions per section but it would work if the question amount was evenly distributed.

Unfortunately, we do not have a class set up for Text blocks but we will add this to our feature request list for you.

I can definitely see where you would need a larger text area for that question. I know as of right now the Correct Answer Info box is only one line. We will add a larger text area to our list of featured requests for you.

The best way to accomplish the grouping is by listing them in order by category right now. So have all of your math questions first then your science questions. We are in the middle of creating an update that will allow you to drag and drop questions to reorder them but we don’t have an exact release date for that yet.

It is possible to display the score and/or points of a specific category by using either %CATEGORY_SCORE%%/CATEGORY_SCORE% or %CATEGORY_POINTS%%/CATEGORY_POINTS% . Just make sure when using categories that the category is selected towards the bottom of the Add Question screen. You could insert headers by using the Text block question type.

After you install Quiz Master Next it should have an option to the left hand side in the admin panel called Quizzes. Also, make sure the plugin is activated. The Quizzes area will not appear in the admin panel if it is not activated.

We actually have a duplicate quiz option that can bring over your old questions, answers, and settings but yes another plugin can duplicate for you too.
