In reply to: [WPaudio MP3 Player] [Plugin: WPaudio MP3 Player] Abandoned? This player is not working correctly in 3.0.5 or at all in 3.1. I am going to have to find another soon.
I really like this plug-in and hope the developer takes a look at it.
It seems that there are issues with all of the audio players. Still looking for that elusive one that works and is dead easy for my users to implement.
I am trying to resolve the exact opposite issue. Shows fine on Posts but not consistently on Pages…
I had this issue, too. I deactivated NextGen sitewide (it can be activated for each individual blog) and it stopped asking to be upgraded.
However, there are issues with setting the correct path for the NextGen files since 3.0. Newly created blogs are not having this set correctly. Must be fixed for each individual blog in the options before use.
Hi, don’t know if this will help you, but I resolved similar issues that appeared after the upgrade by setting my NextGen gallery addresses to each of my community blog(s) by hand.
Prior to the upgrade, it worked if each blog user activated the plug-in individually. After the upgrade, this no longer works for new blogs. Waiting for a fix from the author.
For example: I had 20 blogs to fix (this is a MU install). I went in options and changed the wrong address – it happened to be wp-content/blog.dir/9/files/ – to the correct blog number for each blog.
wp-content/blog.dir/12/files/
wp-content/blog.dir/13/files/
wp-content/blog.dir/14/files/ …After that, each individual blog’s NextGen started working properly again.
So, check to see that your directories match your blogs.

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Unable to upload photoesThis helped my post-3.0 blogs. Maybe it will help others that are running into issues with it? Using in a multisite environment, Plug-in activated individually, not site wide.
Try deactivating NextGen and exiting the Dashboard.
Go back in and reactivate it.
Check your individual NextGen options to make sure the path is correct
Try creating a new gallery, or uploading a zip file of images. It should upload the images and write to the database.
The onboard flash uploader isn’t working for me (was before) still looking into that.

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Unable to upload photoesNextGen appears to not work properly — at least in multisite — since 3.0. I have this exact issue. It’s discussed in other threads:

(not resolved)

In reply to: NextGen Gallery – WPMU – Gallery Folder IssueI have played with this some more.
If I code in the proper directory by hand (in options), it acts as though it’s working.
I can create directories
It *thinks* it’s uploading images. Goes through the whole process and then fails. No images are uploaded into the directory.
However, it *will* upload a zip file and create a directory for those images.
Fails when you try to add more images.
curious!

Sort of a solution.
Disable the flash uploader and it seems to work, one image at a time.

In reply to: NextGen Gallery – WPMU – Gallery Folder IssueAlso having a problem.
Although the path seems correct. Any blogs created after the 3.0 upgrade cannot create new directories, rendering the plug-in useless for now.
for example:
Create a new , empty gallery below the folder wp-content/blogs.dir/9/files/if you write in a directory name, nothing happens.
Like many users, “not using it” right now is difficult. I have 20 students ready to start new blogs on Monday. Would hate to have to uninstall this great plug-in.

EDIT:OK, follow-up to my issue. If I deactivate and then reactivate 1.5.5 for my new blogs (it was active when the blogs were created from a template) it *does* seem able to write new directories.
HOWEVER: Uploading images, no thumbnails are created, no errors, just doesn’t work.
A blog created BEFORE the 3.0 upgrade seems to still work fine. The new blogs have issues.
