Hi,
Since the report, I have done all the updates, wordpress and BackWpUp, without finding the backup folders in the Uploads.
I am obliged to make the backups by Sftp, which is fine, but I wonder if I should keep the extension on this site, if it is not useful?
For information, I manage several other sites without any problem with BackWpUp, for years.
I was hoping to reset the basic settings for the extension’s backup folders. The problem probably appeared last March, after the fire at the Ovh Data Center in Strasbourg: data disappeared, including these famous folders.
The mystery continues ??

the hoster is OVH ;
the problem became in 03/2021, and they had a big fire disaster in hosting place.
Do you want the technical BackWPUp report ?

there was no change on my part for the write permissions, it was working for 6 years. I think it’s a limitation of the host.
On the other sites where I use backWPup, there are three folders in /uploads which are for backups, for logs and the temporary one.
Here on this site, the folders are not present.

If I run a backup, with a new task, several minutes pass, then the log takes a long time to be edited. The history does show the backup, but it is not present when going through ftp (no backup folder).

I’m interested in your assumption of write permission: where to set this permission? By ftp, assigned to the uploads folder?

Bonjour, je confirme pour ma part, sur deux sites après la mise à jours vers 5.6 de WP, il m’a fallu désactiver l’extension responsive-lightbox qui interfère et bloque avec un écran noir.

First, 13 august, 3.09, and nothing run so ;
second, I upload 3.95 at 15 agust, nothing seams good ;
today, I came back to plugin settings, and here all pages and all products were in the “Select the page(s) to be displayed normally, excluded by maintenance mode:” section. So I erase it ans all is correct now.
So long

I have an issue : in “Exclude pages from maintenance mode”, I found all my pages and all my products ! I don’t put it inside before, it seams automatically placed in.
So I have clear the cases pages and products, and now the plug-in run well.

Hi, Nothing run for me since 5.5 wp update, tried in many browsers. Preview look good but not realy in fact (without preview).

Thank you for your attention and your reminder.
No, it’s not solved. I just gave up, wishing I’d taken that plugin, taken and paid for it.
I’m not a developer, just a designer, and it gets complicated. It’s not very important, a black title on a black background, but I like what is well finished, I’m surprised that the resolution is not known or within keyboard reach for specialists. I’m thinking of changing to another extension soon.

I think that the option of the theme: dark or clear, in the presentation options, wins. Maybe by acting on the links, with or without hovering?

With the inspector (chrome or safari) the name of the element to modify seems one of the two above: where is the error?
