My host is not very cooperative… But I still think it’s a WP issue. Access to files is not blocked completely, it’s just that wp plugin uipdates cannot get access. When using wp 3.7 I had no such issues…

I don’t know what to expect here, that’s why I asked you ??

But now I finally solved it! Even the different background images for each cell!

The custom css now looks like this:

When you load the page, you see the red color flashing, but is overruled by the repeating background image.

Hi Tobias,

I downloaded tablepress and the responsive extension plugin and activated both. The tablepress itself works fine, the extension doesn’t do anything at all.

The simple html table I made earlier was automatically responsive in Google Chrome, but not in IE in FF.
With Tablepress it’s not even resposnive in Chrome anymore ??

Unfortunately my knowledge of php is too litte to localize the issue.
Please tell me what I should edit on what page.
