I think I’ve found the problem. EM clashes with Advanced Custom Fields. When ACF is active the booking gets sent twice.

But the strange thing is, when I look at the generated source code of the single event page, there isn’t any javascript generated by the advanced custom fields plugin or anything.

Can you think of something?

Also, the Phone number doesn’t seem to be get either. I get “Phone: Not Supplied”, when I actually added one.

Can’t remember of by heart and might be wrong but I think there’s a folder you have to copy from the plugin directory to your theme?

Not sure as I can’t check at the moment so sorry if I’m just making it up! ??

I tried adding the post type a-to-z and just use the WP built in category system.

I then added a post through the A to Z section and categorised it under the letter A and I still get a permalink like this:

www.domain.com/a-to-z/postname
instead of
www.domain.com/a-to-z/a/postname

However if I add a post via the normal way (Posts) and categorise it under A I get what I’m looking for:

www.domain.com/a-to-z/a/postname

Please help! ??

Not sure if you sorted this out but are there any posts in those child categories you are trying to show?

Categories with no posts will not show up by default unless you add hide_empty=0.

I’m having the exact same problem with a couple of websites on the same server. Other non-Wordpress sites are having issues with databse related stuff.

I would contact your host and tell them about it. It doesn’t seem to be a WordPress issue.

There is a great plugin called Smart Archives Reloaded:

Thanks for your answer. The thing is, as you mentioned, when I put the “available from/to” dates they never get saved. I have tried saving a hundred times… existing and new events and it doesn’t work.
