Here is a video I created showing how to add the full post content to the post cards: Customize the Index Template

I created a video showing how to customize the Index Template, I hope this will be helpful: How to customize the Index Template

Oh, ok, I understand, I will prepare a little video showing the Gallery block. In the post, I just used the default Gallery block in wide mode and added block spacing to it.

I did update the settings for the Gallery block in theme.json in my last theme update, but somehow I feel I made a mistake, as it’s not working yet. I need to check that again for the next update. So sorry.

    Hi there,

thank you so much for such an amazing feedback, I’m so happy that the theme motivates you to work with WordPress again ??

As there is a “Content” block, you can add the entire content to the Index Template (go to Appearance/Editor/Templates/Index) when you edit the template. You will also most likely want to adapt the Content block settings a little by changing the font size and the block spacing I feel.

You can also delete any content block (e.g. date, excerpt, author) that we have added by default.

As it’s a little more complicated to add new blocks to the template compared to delete them, I will record a little video on how to do that and post it here in the thread.

    Hi there,
I’m sorry for my late reply. Unfortunately at the moment the column based, vertical layout order is the only option to have the masonry style added to the theme.
I will update the theme to provide an alternative horizontal layout in the next release. This will only work with cutting the images all to one same size, though, I hope this is ok.
Once I have the alternative layout, I will post again here (most likely the beginning of next week).
Let me know if you have further questions.

Yes, we added the template, but you would need to update the Single post Template to see the changes.
I will record a little video later today to show how to update the template, and I will link it here in the thread.

I now optimized the styling in update 1.0.11, but the options to add spacing between list items are sadly still limited. There is no option in the list block.
I hope the amount I added via CSS is good, otherwise you could also add custom CSS in your site.

I hope I understand your question correctly. If so, you can already do that by customizing the Index Template:

    1. Go to Appearance / Editor / Templates
    2. Click on Index and then into the Excerpt block text.
In the right and sidebar you find Excerpt block settings and you can change the number of words and save your customization.

Please let me know if this is not solving it.
    Kind Regards, Ellen

Oh yes, thank you so much, that is very helpful. I see what you mean. It will be fixed in the next theme update (1.0.11).

Thanks so much for your update, I noticed this too when I checked the gallery yesterday, and I’m just working on setting a default gap via theme.json.

As a solution, right now you can select the Gallery block and find the Dimensions settings under the Styles tab in the Block Settings sidebar. Here you can set the Block Spacing (I would recommend to 24px).

I just checked the List block styling again, and it’s minimal but does not break in my testing. Do you maybe have a screenshot or a link to a live site for me to see how it looks for you? Just to make sure I’m providing the right fix. Thanks so much!

Oh, you mean how to add a navigation to the ‘Single Post’ template to navigate to the next post?

I will check if we can add this and style it. It might be simple styling for now. I will have a look for the next theme update.

Yes, you can set all images to have the same border radius (24px or 1.5rem like the Featured Post Images) in the Styles block settings.

    1. Go to Appearance / Editor.
    2. Click on Styles / Edit Styles (little Pencil icon).
    3. Choose Blocks in the right Styles sidebar (see: Customize the appearance of specific blocks for the whole site.)
    4. Choose the Image block and set the Border to the 24px radius.
    5. Save your customization.

Note: Saving the Image block will automatically add the same border radius to all Images inside Gallery blocks.

Just let me know if anything is not working as described.

Oh, I’m so sorry for this mistake. I will have a look and provide a fix asap. I will work on this evening.

Hi Michael, we had a member of our team suddenly leave on parental leave therefore our support has been slower. But we are back at it and working through any theme issues preparing updates this week.

Once fixed it would be kind to reconsider your one star review as it is not this plugin causing the issue but instead an issue with the theme.

    Kind Regards
    Ellen
