Hi- I just discovered a minor issue with the import when I inadvertently included a blank space after an IP address in the “Start IP” column. This row was omitted in the import process. The only way I tracked it down was the number of rows imported was one less than in my csv file so I looked carefully at what I had recently edited in the csv file (using Textmate, my text editor) and spotted the extra space I had included by mistake.

I think it would be useful if there was an error message pointing out the error in case I didn’t catch it (ie. number of rows imported was less than number of rows in csv OR even better which row the error was on and what the problem of rejection was… improper character, or range error, or duplicate etc).

Perhaps it would also be possible to simply strip any leading or trailing blanks to avoid this particular problem.

Thanks again for such a wonderful plugin. I am relying on it to update 740 IP range values currently.

The * means 0 – 255. So just input 209.152.32.0 – 209.152.63.255

Figured it out. I didn’t have the Country Canada selected in Civicrm localization. No problem with the plugin just my understanding of civicrm. Sorry.

Love the plugin, but I can’t get the Province to synch with CIVICRM. The Country pull-down works and updates civi, but I can’t link the province to the Country. So I can change countries and that updates my civi data but the field for province won’t permit selections and so we can’t update our province civi data.

Just put [gp-social] wherever you want to use it! Works great! Ask me if you have a problem.

I still have found no plugin to handle this. I like IP Based Login but it would be better if it could also handle IPV6 as well since that is becoming more common.

Not sure which is the version and which is the download. Maybe I am having a terminology/definition problem. I assume that when I add a new download that the version 1 is the same as the original download? Wouldn’t they be in synch until such a time as I added a link to a different version of the original?

Sorry for being obtuse. But what is the point of a version if you can’t reference it in the short code?

This is marked resolved. But I also have the same problem. Only 1 file uploaded and different ID showing in the two screens. Only the one on the all downloads listing works. The “version” ID is always off by one.
