Thank you!
But isn’t that standard behaviour for the email preview? That enables the sender to see how different recipients might view it, depending on their own preferences.
That’s what I get, anyway when I trigger a preview. 4 emails in those formats.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Thought I was set up correctly but apparently not?I don’t believe I am using a caching plugin, but I do use Jetpack, which, if the caching element is active, is apparently supported well. The post did, eventually appear. So perhaps it’s just a slow process.
I have other issues (it seems to lack certain functionality, such as not showing followers, only having a welcome and settings tab), but I will make a different post for that.
Cheers
Ellie

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Will this affect current functionality of mastodon or blog? It’s course you’re right! And I do (have secure passwords). But my blog username is not the name on this forum… That’s not to say you couldn’t easily find it.
cheers!

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Will this affect current functionality of mastodon or blog?one more question:
does that mean the login name is then displayed as the username? Is there any way to change that? Security risk and all that.

In reply to: Widget content on Sidebar doesn’t show in Widget editorThank you, I will do so. As this theme is used on another site I use, with no such issues, I thought it might not be specific to the theme. But I will ask them.
Cheers
@acekin which one?

In reply to: One commenter always needs approval though previously approvedIt’s absolutely empty.
I chose the option to show the number of approved comments next to the name of each commenter. Most show a predictable (and increasing) number as I go up the list from earlier comments to their latest (including my own). This person’s goes from 2 to 1 to 1 again…
However, she has just responded to a comment I made, and that response has gone through with no issue. I’ll keep an eye on it.
Cheers and goodnight

In reply to: One commenter always needs approval though previously approvedOkay, they responded, incredibly quickly, actually.
“I looked in our logs and Akismet hasn’t treated any of their comments as spam”There is this in the Disallowed Comments box, 110.142.81.49 but description of that box notes that the comment will be put in the trash. The comments don’t get put in the trash, they get sent for moderation. Could that be it?

In reply to: One commenter always needs approval though previously approvedNot the case. Thanks.
I sent a support request with my key, but I wonder how they will respond, unless that key gives them access to my email account? I didn’t have to supply one.
I’ll report back if I hear from them. Thanks again, James.

In reply to: One commenter always needs approval though previously approvedI haven’t thought to contact them, but will do so. Thanks.
I had one thing that I wondered about. The commenter’s email address has a dot in the middle: [email protected]
Would this cause any problem?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: One commenter always needs approval though previously approvedNo space, unfortunately. Either in the moderation settings nor in her email. It’s only she who is affected, oddly enough.
And I only run Akismet, I think, as anti spam. I once did find one of her comments in spam and marked it as not spam. They’ve never gone into spam since, just held for modération.
I even made her a subscriber user. Nothing has helped.

In reply to: [Subscribe2 - Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters] Sending when disabledI regularly use this feature and (so far) it has worked just fine. I post almost every day, but only send one notification every few days.
What I wish is that I could select only certain people to send some emails (those interested in a particular topic). They can’t subscribe that way for this plugin, as far as I know.
