To further elaborate on this problem, I have decide to proceed with development with the hopes that the problem gets fixed. I am trying to upload images but when i try to create a new gallery and upload images, I am getting this text:
Your browser doesn’t have Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.I am using Chrome, so perhaps that can help hint to what server setting may be out of whack.

In reply to: [Post Types Order] Interferes with Search Results page. The plug-in author kindly took time out of his day to patch the plug-in. It has a conflict with another plug-in (transpoosh). It seems to be working fine now. ??
This may be worth trying if the widget does what you want, just not on the page:

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Rogue Advertising / Data MiningHi Dan,
I use this plug-in on all of my websites. I will admit that I freaked out and thought my website was hacked when I saw that Google search bar. It turns out it was part of the update.
Another plug-in update later and on new installations of this plug-in on other sites, I have not had the Google search bar opt’d in by default. You may want to try it again and see if the search is not defaulted ‘on’ for you.Forum: Plugins

2 ideas to throw at you that may be worth looking into…
Is your server using an old version of PHP? check your cPanel and make sure it is the latest.
If you activate your plug-in and your site goes white, connect to your server via FTP and try changing the folder name that holds the plug-in (add an X or Z to the end of the folder name), then reload your plug-ins page. This should de-activate the plug-in and at least you don’t have to go through the efforts of falling back to a site back-up.

In reply to: [Woocommerce Catalog] Catalo Mode Hides Wishlist ButtonHi,
Thank you for your time to make a reply.
This solution is dangerous as someone can still add stuff to their cart when disabling the CSS and there is still the possibility that someone might buy something.
The solution (for anyone else who has this same problem) that I am going with is to manually change the stock of all items in the store to 0/ out of stock. This prevents anyone from buying anything that is out of stock (and not allowing back orders). It also removes the cart button one-by-one of each item that is set to zero stock. I did use CSS to hide the red out of stock notice.
I would prefer to put less work on the client to now forever change their stock to zero for each item, but it seems this is what they will have to stick with.
The plug-in itself works great with great customization options; it just happens to be a poor combination with the Woo Wishlist premium plug-in. I’d still probably use this plug-in for other catalog mode sites that don’t need the wishlist too.
I figured it out. My client’s server was set to PHP 5.2 instead of PHP 5.4. It had nothing to do with WP or the plug-in. Everything seems to be working. I appreciate your time helping me out. Your plug-in is really the best gallery plug-in out there. ??
Hi,
The ‘default plugins’ were JetPack, Askimet and Mojo Market Place (it comes with my 1 click install). I have deleted Mojo market Place and Jetpack. I have deactivated Askimet. Still, when I try to activate Next Gen Gallery, the Plugins page stops working and I can only get back to the page by changing the folder name of the plugin to force de-activate the plugin.
I am really not sure what else to do except for find a different plug-in. I hope this problem doesn’t pop up again on any future website builds, since it really is my favourite gallery plugin.
