Like I said, I have actually lost count of how many plugins for social sharing I have tested. Most of them seem to be a total overkill with the features, admin thingies, scripts and css. Not to mention the thing that I value most; that beeing able to control exactly the position, where I like the share buttons to be.

And that said, this is really the first plugin, that I see my self considering buying even addons. But with the third party solution, which is like one commenter earlier stated, more than hosting expences per month, I am really really looking forward to a version that is not dependent on it ??

Off topic, I might have run into few small bugs. Can I report them to the official support site?

I’ve tested several similar plugins and so far this is absolutely the best. Really appreciate your work and effort on this one!

Sorry, I really do not have answer to that. All the blogs cloned naturally inherit exactly the same options/setting than orginal blog had. And now after updating the plugin to most recent version, blog 1 has dissapered from the list.

Hi! Setting ‘Mature’ has not been ticket.

I’ve also gone all settings thru several times, to make sure that plugin is activated on all blogs, etc. Also tested, if option to use also gravatars messes something up, but no effect.

I do have some new info thou. Since my first post here, I have made a completely fresh installation. After that I was able to select blog id 1 from the list. Later on I’ve created new blogs, some of them manually, and some of them with cloning tool. And these blogs that were cloned, are now on the list. Original blog for clones (which also was made manuallly) is not listed.

Edit: In order to produce the error, I re-uploaded the plugin, and all is working. So sorry for the trouble.

I thought that was needed, in order WP to be able to install virtual folders with my original server structure. But guess not? Sorry, I’m very out from my comfort zone with anything like this ??

Ok, thought so. At the moment, I have:

– Set domain to allow wildcards in domain management (DNS zone having record for *.domain.com & *.www.domain.com)
– Added permission to add custom directives in Apache configuration file (Server alias *.domain.com)
– Allowed user directories

Is something missing?

Ok, seems like that went quite smoothly, so I can confirm, those instructions are valid with 3.9.1. Only more ‘trouble’ I had, was with locating mainsite permalinks options in DB in order to remove ‘www’.

One question thou; I have naturally set my domain to allow subdomain wildcards. But at the moment, when I add new site, I have to add manually new subdomain to my server. Is this expected bahaviour? Or should WP be able to create, and add subdomains automatically? In that case I suspect, my server is missing some settings.

I currently still have only main site + 2 test blogs, containing only few test posts. So I basically _can_ start all over again, with fresh installation. But since I allready once tested dublicating the whole *insert rude word here*, and even that was not very smooth considering all the widgets and them not movin properly, I’m willing to try ??
(And yes, I do DB backups daily).

About being good with DB.. I only know the basics, meaning I can export, import, drop, optimize, repair etc. or go into a certain table, and change something that is clearly visible. Custom queries is also doable, but only when I have copypaste instructions to do that.

This is just an uneducated guess, but based on what I have now tested with that fresh 3.9.1, it seems that something might have changed compared to previous versions. Most of the normal plugins work fine, but it gets messy everytime, when I install plugin, that is supposed to do stuff network wide.

For example only fully working solution, at least without getting any debug errors for retrieving data from other blogs to sidebar widget, is the one I posted earlier. And I’ve tested several plugins that are supposed to do that.

De-activated previous one, and deleted it. Uploaded dev version. Activated it network wide, just in case, thou planning to use the plugin only on main site.
Debug error is now gone, but still in Avatar list settings > Enable blog filter says: Sorry, no choices available.
