Thank you for the information and the prompt reply.

I am confused about this because when I visit other sites and click the tweet button, the after-share “successful tweet” confirmation box stays open until I close it. I don’t have to do anything special for that to happen.

Thanks to your clear and simple directions about customizing the share buttons, I got the “via” and “related” parameters to work in the first box that opens when the tweet button is clicked. Perhaps I did that incorrectly and messed something else up?

Or is there a way to get the confirmation box to stay open by adding another line to the “Additional JavaScript” box in Settings?

As an update, my host support team says this:

–I have confirmed that the Database host IP is mentioned correctly in the config file. Please check with the plugin support team regarding how it is accessing the database server IP address, as I am not able to identify any related file in the plugin settings, where the IP is mentioned.–

Also, I have disabled the plugin and re-enabled it. No change.

Perhaps I need to uninstall it entirely, reload it and re-do all my quizzes. Unless you have another suggestion.

    Thank you for the reply.

The problem is that the DB host ip address in the error message is incorrect. The database is not at that address where Watu is looking, so there can be no user with that name at that address to have any privileges.

The database does not exist where Watu is looking. But the database config file has the correct address.

Well, that was certainly a terrifying first for this non-techie.

However, apparently did successfully add the field to the database without breaking anything (or at least anything currently in evidence). WHEW!

Was then able to create a new quiz. Same as the old quiz but with a proper code. ??

Quiz is here if you’re feeling brave; https://www.taxinglessons.com/index.php/definition-unreimbursed-employee-business-expenses/

Thank you for your prompt reply.

And thank you for this wonderful plug in. Have been using it for a year with no problems.
