Has nothing to do wit version. I deinstalled link manager, and have not the links option in my menu any more.
After that I removed the link manager pluging, but that did not help.

So it looks like it broke my wordpress installation, not only the links but the links option in the menu is gone

After deleting links manager I did not get my links option back in my WordPress Dashboard.

I think that it is troublesome that it changes something in the basic WordPress installation.

I′am not a programmer. I did not change anything in the Editor. I only use the plugin as it is.

All I can find is with testing:
1. Link I ad in the admin interface a link and NOT get “no follow”
2. Links as admin added via external form and NOT get “no follow”
3. Links other people ad (or logged out) via the external form and DO get “no follow”

Now I see the option “Geen volgen” = “no follow” in the seperate link properties.
I can put the link settings “Geen volgen” checked. But that does not change the output. It is still : class=”track_this_link ” rel=”nofollow”

I did find the option in the link library settings.
But it is not on.
And older links do not get an no-follow setting

I’m getting the same problem with MailPoet and SendGrid.

Now, I think I know what is happening. When putting links in WordPress as Administrator in the WorPress system, they do not get rel=”nofollow”

When accepting with the form and menu, they get rel=”nofollow”. Although settings are telling not to do that.

And with an other test it did not change it when I changed the settings.

I could change it, but I had to save ever link in the link list seperate.
So had to go to every added link and save it by hand.

With current version of Link Library.
There is no other plugin
I use simple shortcodes, with no extra settings. Just [link-library settings=1]

For rel=”nofollow” option it all looks somewhat buggy.
With some trial and error I manage to get the most links without rel=”nofollow”

Works like this :
Standard the option in the settings is unchecked, but all links DO get standard rel=”nofollow” (that is wrong)

Then I change the settings. I do a check, and save. And after that I unchecke and Save the settings.
After doing that the result was :
– All links did not have rel=”nofollow” execept the first link.
In an other configuration
– All links did not have rel=”nofollow” except the last link.

When I enter a link via the form. And accept this link with the link library menu option “nakijken”, the link does get the rel=”nofollow option. Although settings are telling not to do that.

I have this problem still. What do I have to do?

Is it:
Install new version (I see there is a version 5.8.10.6 ?)
And use other shortcodes?
[search-link-library]
[cats-link-library]
[addlink-link-library]

Must I use it like this? :
[addlink-link-library settings=1]

I′am sorry for not reacting.
Please, I do want to look at this, but not a lot of time at the moment.

I do not have Plugin Organizer
And as far as I know I do not have plugins installed that execute other plugins.

Any news?

For me it is that I stopped using FV Top Level Categories. To much trouble.
