In reply to: [japan-style] Theme Drastically ChangedI think I got it. I just replaced the link. That css editor is nice. I am wondering, do most themes change like that when you update them?

In reply to: [japan-style] Theme Drastically ChangedHi – It is getting closer, but I can’t get the background image right. I think it must have gotten over written. What would you suggest? Thanks, I really appreciate your help. -Beth

In reply to: [japan-style] Theme Drastically ChangedHello – Thank you. What should I do to get it back the original way? Copy the old code, restore the back up. Or am I out of luck. The theme is really old, but was workable???

In reply to: [japan-style] Theme Drastically ChangedHello Andrew – I am not seeing the theme on the demo site. I think it is really old. I am not even seeing images that are close to what is now displaying. The site used to look like:
https://web.archive.org/web/20131005010424/https://customdesignwoodworks.com/?”
and now it looks like:
https://customdesignwoodworks.com/
I had a backup done a couple of days ago, but I am hoping that I don’t have to go through that process. Not sure what to do? Any ideas? Thanks so much. -Beth

In reply to: [Enigma] Navigation BavI am using the Enigma theme and I like the way knight81206 blog is set up. I just updated my theme and I am not seeing a menu structure like:
‘Go to dashboard admin panel >> appearance menu >> theme options >>
custom css editor.
Now write below CSS rules into custom css editor :
.dropdown-menu {
background-color: rgba(62, 66, 68, 0.9);
}’Now save the changes.
Note: Change the color code according your requirement.
Thanks’

I just want the navigation to be located under the header. Am I in the correct topic? Thanks so much. -Beth

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] Navigation Font Size will not changeWell … I figured it out with the help of CrouchingBruin. There is a plugin that is had a demo at: https://demo.stylesplugin.com/twentytwelve, which lead me right to where to change the font. Should have been easy enough, but to access it, I had to go to the plugin menu.
Now I am just back at seeing if I can make the navigation text space longer to see if I can fit all the links onto 1 line. I will be looking more at the source code to find this, but if anyone has a quick insight, that would be great. Thanks so much. -Beth

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] Navigation Font Size will not changeHi There – This blog has had too many hands in the pot, so to speak. I can’t find that plugin or rule. Would I add the above rule to the styles.css file and overright the #access settings? or is there some way for me to add it to the bottom of the file with an ! or something of that nature so that it is the rule that has the main control? Thanks so much.
One thing, I think, may have happened is that I did update the twenty eleven theme and there were new things appearing. I think something like “assistive text” came into play and then the search box on the main navigation re-appeared.
Any ideas, help suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. -Beth

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] How to Left Align Navigation LinksI am still having an issue with this navigation. My last resort was to make the links smaller as they were wrapping around in the navigation creating 2 lines. On the main site i.e.:
The primary navigation is laying out the way it is supposed to. I am wondering for the blog:
https://real-estate-in-tahoe.com/
Can I make the links larger to match the main site or am I stuck with the very small links?
I have a line of code from the main sites’ style sheet and I am wondering if I add that in, would that help i.e.:
<link href="https://www.ttahoe.com/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Beth

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve – Page Margins & Create Static Front PageHello FarzamF – Thank you! I did add the one “fa fa-cube” to the Content Box 1 Icon (FontAwesome) which puts the icon above the “Tahoe Lakefront Home with a Pier” picture, but I was hoping to put it below the picture, so I am wondering if I need to go into the style.css page? I will try this next. Thank you again for your help!! Much appreciated. -Beth

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve – Page Margins & Create Static Front PageHello FarzamF – Thank you that worked perfectly!!! I am not sure if I need to start another post but I am now trying to add 3 – 4 images/icons below the pictures i.e. “Tahoe Lakefront Home with a Pier” etc., to show things like “click here to request more information” with a nice email link icon image. I am wondering if I need to install some sort of image gallery or if I can just copy and paste the code that runs the pictures below the slider to duplicate and then have 4 images? Thanks again. What a great help you have been! -Beth

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] How to Left Align Navigation LinksI found the place to edit the navigation font size. The menu structure is a bit cumbersome. I am looking forward to starting a new theme from scratch ??
