@gowebsol Can you please let me know where you think the conflict could be?
Its been over a month since we got a review and we are thinking some customers are not purchasing due to that fact as if something has been wrong recently.

I know its a theme conflict with the plugin, but I can not find what is conflicting in order to make it work.

To my understanding, it is a 3rd party developed by a guy named Illari.

I would not be disappointed with jigoshop as they are redeveloping it. The reason it happened was due to upgrades they are making to the plugin so we all get a better plugin performance and functionality.

I have been emailing them about multiple times a week with bugs or somethings that I noticed. They have been VERY responsive and are really working hard.

The company was sold and the new guys coming on board to develop it have been great. Through this process there will be ups and downs like we are currently experiencing.

If you are in need of a different temporary fix until the new plugin is developed, I would suggest emailing them at [email protected] to get a quote.

Ya I know its a bummer. I use that plugin every week for order fulfillment database. Unfortunately with the new Jigoshop improvements, the plugin does not work. Jigoshop is aware and informed me they will be redeveloping the plugin. I am unaware of a timeline.

My work around suggested by Jigoshop, download the 1.8.6 version. Override your version, export the data you need, then re-update to the correct version.
I was informed that there would be no database damage as there are not database changes between the versions.

I looked into it really quickly. It appears that the PayPal IPN does indeed notify of echecks, pending orders, charged back orders.
I think it would be great if we could create a new order status, or some way to designate that the order was paid for and is not pending, but the money is not in our account (aka don’t fulfill the order).
If i was able to code this, I would use the on-hold (as we don’t use that now), and edit the on hold email, not to be the same as the processing order email. But still notify the customer and store that the order was received but PayPal is reviewing the payment.

How did you transfer all your reviews to the new plugin?

Just out of curiosity. Have you looked into the tax law? We looked into it and was told we have to charge tax to ca customers. We charge the tax rate in which the city we are incorporated – chatswoth. There fore we don’t use zip codes.
Have you read differently?

FYI. I actually added the 1.8.6 file instead of the 1.8.1.
Unsure why, but now it does work on my install.

@megawebmaster my ftp and admin has been sent in multiple times now for weddingprepgals.com.
The issue I had with 1.9.3.1 was when I used an international address, it errored.
My set up – California only tax. If shipping to the US, no problem. But if you attempted Australia or Canada, it would showbup with errors and not allow customers to place order. Now I set the site up with the old file and is working

Great fix. Just replace the tax class file. Everything is working again.
missed out on the week’s sales taxes – o well, should have thought it up my self.

I’m sure jigoshop will look into what you have pointed out and update the next version with the bug fix.

Any idea what files would be getting messed with? does that error message imply a certain file?

Unfortunately their support is pretty lack luster. Currently working on a bunch of other things, but might get a quote from you to fix in the near future.

which functions were interfering with it? I’m set to california and it does it as well. i reported the issue but never got a resolution.

Just to provide you with some amateur advice. The Jigoshop support can weigh in when they get a chance.

This is all theme css that should be adjusted. Have you looked into your theme settings – especially colors and font style. The price tag background may be expanded through custom css as well…depending on how the theme is written. In the jigoshop settings, you may want to remove everything after the . (i.e. .00) to give your self more room so it doesn’t come off the price tag.
