On second though … yes, I am. I use VaultPress to do my backups.

I now assume they are causing the problem.

I just assumed that a clean export from phpmyadmin after optimizing/repairing was solving the problem.

Looks like the finger can be pointed at VaultPress.

No. I’m exporting directly from phpMyAdmin.

I realize that WordPress didn’t develop the plugins, but the plugins were developed for WordPress, so I thought this forum might be a good place to start.

Make sure you’re saving the file as a windows compatible .csv. I couldn’t figure this out for the life of me, and then . . . I saved as “Windows Comma Separated (.csv)”.

After disabling all of my plugins, the visual editor works. Then I activated them one by one and finally found the one that caused the conflict. Weird thing is that the plugin works on all of my other blogs. I don’t see any patterns as to what is causing this problem.

Worked For Me:

1. Disable All Plugins
2. Upgrade > ReInstall
3. Log Out
4. Log In

…then I reactivated all plugins…then it stopped working again.

SOLUTION: Reactivate plugins individually until you see which plugin is causing the conflict…then keep it deactivated. Sucks if you like the plugin.
