Now that I’ve managed to add the new password through the FTP, I go back onto WP to sign in and as soon as I click the ‘log in’ button it redirects me to the same log in page… what gives?

However, as mentioned I am so very new to this all and have no idea how to make the other ways of getting your password change work.

I am trying the FTP way, but I dont see the functions.php file in my FTP site (I’m using cyberduck) … the instructions say I need to find my sites functions.php file, but no idea where that is!

Any help? Or other suggestions on getting my password back?
