I just disabled the Lite speed cache plugin. You will know whether the cookiebot plugin works or not because it should not load any cookie script until the user clicks “OK” on the cookie banner. In other words, it should not load the Adsense script until the user clicks OK. Now as I have disabled the lite speed cache plugin, the Cookiebot plugin works and blocks cookies but if I re-enable your cache plugin the cookiebot plugin will stop working. Thank you.

You understand that the user who uses these plugins is advanced and most of them don’t even know what’s going on. I’d be happy to pay for the premium version of the plugin but without practical examples it doesn’t give me confidence. Everybody says “and this is where you add the scripts manually” but not one practical example of how you would do with some random script from any random website to know how to add them.. On the Internet there is no tutorial and all give the same answer… “in this section you add the scripts of third parties of the cookies” but not a practical example except analytics.. A greeting.

I have also noticed that it gives incompatibility with another plugin that I use called “WP External Links” if I disconnect this plugin everything works perfectly but the fault is WPQuads because if I install the version of WPQuads 2.0.9.1. everything works correctly.

This error has to do with the use of shortcodes in Gutenberg and with REST API compatibility problems: Head endpoint’. Please repair it I have all the advertising placed with shortcodes with your plugin manually and I can’t go back to the classic editor because the Youtube videos don’t appear if I switch from Gutenberg to classic, there is no way back. It’s only solved if:

1 Disconnect the WPquads plugin.
2 Or if I go back to WPQuads version 2.0.9.1
3 OR If I disconnect ‘REST API: Head endpoint’ in Yoast SEO (not a bug in the Seo By YoasT plugin).

The problem appeared when I updated the WPQuads plugin to the latest version. Apparently it’s a problem related to the shortcodes and it has to do with ‘REST API: Head endpoint’ . I thought that upgrading to WP 5.5 would fix it but it didn’t.. As I did at the beginning of the thread I attached a picture again and also for you to see that I use custom shortcodes.

PS: I have the same configuration in all my webs and it only happens in one of them so the error is hard to duplicate but it has to do with the 3 points I put above. Thanks for your solution and a greeting.

As I was afraid I just followed this tutorial https://www.cookielawinfo.com/user-guide/ to block the cookies with the plugin and the plugin doesn’t block even one adding to the list manually… either that or I’m doing something wrong.

Thanks the plugin seems to be very good but the way to block the third party scripts is very very confusing in the video no practical example comes.

I have passed my web through https://cookieserve.com/ to know which cookies load and honestly I don’t know what to put in the plugin. If you could explain with some practical example how it is done I would appreciate it very much… thanks!

I just updated to WordPress 5.5 and the error message “Error Updating failed. Error message: the response is not a valid Json Reponse” keeps popping up. I hope that in the next version of the plugin I can fix it, thank you very much.
