Guys and Dolls, I may have some answer
Looks like the problem is not in the plugin but in the server. I realized this after trying another similar plugin and ending with the same issue, so I asked for support from my hosting provider – Greengeeks – that resolved it immediately.
They have whitelisted mod_sec rule that caused this issue, and everything started working fine.
Have a look into this, @bungeshea , sure you can solve this problem once and for all – Code Snippets is a fine plugin!

Same problem: after update code disappeared, and it is not possible to enter and save it anymore, all we have is a 404 error page.

thanks for your reply and advice, but, as I stated above, I don’t use any contact form plugin anymore – and this is part of the problem of receiving mail looking like is coming from a contact form.

Btw I think it’s right to underline that Page Builder is not disrupting anything: the sites are working perfectly, only the editor is blocked in classic mode.

When you click Revoke consent the page refreshes but the message remains Cookies are enabled.
If you clean the browser cache and refresh, you find out that cookies have indeed been disabled.

So we need to correct the Revoke consent notice – please @milmor, one last effort!

white on white is in effect a css problem with a theme, but in both cases the button does not revoke the cookies, it refreshes the page but cookies remain enabled.

Looks like the plugin is working nevertheless…

As @hshiner pointed out, we are required to give the user the chance to opt-out, and the shortcode [cookie-control] does not provide it.

In the banner under “Cookies are enabled” I see a white rectangle, if there is a label it is white on white. The inspector reveals that is the button to revoke consent, but it points to the Cookie info page, and there is no effect, cookies remain enabled.

Please help…

@robmason38 I tried your ‘horrible hack’ but it did not work for me – probably I did not used it properly.
It would be great if this plugin could be up and running again, it was a true treasure, and it would be most popular.

Btw, aren’t you going to release a new similar plugin? I am certain that most of old FS users would adopt it.

I deleted the frontpage and set up another one, and it is working beautifully.

I really don’t know what was wrong, but apparently the fault was not in the theme.

Just one more question: how to backup/restore settings?

Just updated to version 2.3.1 and the problem persist:
No section is visible and editing in the customizer has no effect.
Did the sections become tout-court a pro-feature , and not just the reorder function as it was before?
And what happened to the settings backup/restore?
