I copied all contents from parent index-projects.php into the child theme’s index-projects.php, and then added the links. I was just wondering, if the theme is updated with new version of index-projects.php file, my child theme will override it?
I am curious how people are dealing with this situation. Usually I have a list of things to check when a parent theme is updated, and this list is growing…. is there a way to just apply those links, without overriding the whole parent theme’s index-projects.php and its future updates?

Jmmonty – did you mean to move files via ftp or inside my dreamhost account? I never moved anything in Dreamhost and I asked them to do this for me. So if its just Filezilla then I can play with that. For the dreamhost side Ineed to contact them again

At least it’s displaying now…

I just changed siteurl and homeurl to elenadonchenko.com and can’t even login to the old wordpress dashboard anymore.
When Dreamhost moved the files for me the new site was running well. The only thing – I couldn’t access its Dashboard at all. That’s when I statrted ecperimenting, and now it’s not running at all.
