Hello @generosus,
We have further deliberated on the matter.
Indeed, it has been some time since we announced that QUIC would be implemented and that an update would follow. However, no further information has been provided since then.
As you are aware, SiteGround is not just a hosting company. We offer a multitude of additional services and consistently strive to deliver high-quality, reliable services to our clients.
Before we release a new service or update, we need to ensure that it will not negatively impact any of our existing services. The process of testing and ensuring compatibility with all SiteGround services and features is complex and time-consuming. We have already initiated this process and encountered some issues that require further attention before we can proceed with enabling this service.
I want to assure you that we are diligently working on this matter. However, due to the complexities involved and the potential impact on many other services, we are unable to provide an ETA for when we will reach the final stage of enabling the service for all our clients.
Furthermore, as this query is strictly server-related, it would be more appropriate to post it on the SiteGround help desk. This forum is specifically for discussing the Optimizer plugin and its functionalities. Discussing our hosting features here could be considered a violation of the rules.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello @proleadersacademy and @futurelink,
Thank you for the report. It appears that some plugins and themes are using the same background library we do. In the version 7.3.2 we have updated the library to the latest version available, and as reported, some of the plugins/themes are not yet compatible with it.
So today we have released a new version of the plugin and downgraded the background process library to the previous version in order to address such issues.
You can upgrade the plugin to the 7.3.3 version and verify the results on your end.

ElenaHello @generosus,
As discussed above, the report is not sent by the plugin and strictly related to SiteGround hosting service.
We can not discuss this in the plugin public forum. You can contact SiteGround support via Help Desk for more information if needed.
Thank you for your understanding!

ElenaHello @thesoz,
I completely understand the situation and your frustration. There is a good reason why this issue is not yet resolved and that we are releasing other fixes before it.As you have contacted us multiple times and as noted – there are still no changes in the way the plugin exclude lists are provided to all users, I would like to provide more details why.
The dropdown element discussed in this thread is a complex element part of SiteGround style guide. It is used not only in our plugins, but in other internal systems as well. Thus having such a complex element refactored will not be as simple a task as it looks like. Our designers and front-end developers will make sure to complete this the best way possible, and find a solution which will work best not only for the plugins but for all systems using it as well.
Still I can not provide an ETA when it will be released, I would like to assure you that we are not lying and we already have a task opened for this on the same day you have started this thread.

SiteGroundHi @capitancapo,
Thank you for the report. We have tagged the stable version into the plugin readme and now the latest version is being downloaded as expected.
I suggest you to try updating your plugin again.

ElenaHello @generosus,
Thank you for the feedback. I have forwarded the suggestions you have to the team responsible for the SiteGround montly reports.
I would like to point that those reports you are reffering to are not related to the SG Security plugin and not sent by it. So this forum is not the best place to provide feedback for them.
As the monthly reports are part of the SiteGround Hosting service in the future you can share such feedback directly in the SiteGround Help Desk.

ElenaThank you for your report, @grex22!
We will release new version today with a fix for PHP versions lower than 8.0.

ElenaHello @ivicad,
You can exclude the external sources from the combination using the following filter:add_filter( 'sgo_javascript_combine_excluded_external_paths', 'js_combine_exclude_external_script' ); function js_combine_exclude_external_script( $exclude_list ) { $exclude_list[] = 'https://platform.illow.io'; return $exclude_list; }
This way all scripts loaded from this domain will be excluded from the combination.
I ?suggest you apply the code into the theme functions.php file, clear the cache of the website and verify the results on your end.

ElenaHello @tnolte,
Thank you for your reply.
We have opened a hosting account which supports litespeed server and tested the case with all above cache settings applied. Still the issue can not be replicated on our end.
It appears there is something else in your server or website setup which causes the reported behaviour.
If you could setup a test website and disable all cache options to verify if the issue is still present or not.

ElenaHello @oganianarman,
First of all I would like to thank you for your detailed report and interest in our plugin!
We aim to keep the plugin working as expected for as many websites as possible and constantly improving it in the meantime. As you can see from the plugin information it is used by more than 1 million websites already.
Because of the specifications of every single website the plugin provides a large number of excludes and filters which can be used by different websites to take advantage of its full potential.
Before such improvement is considered we first make sure that it will be suitable for the existing users.
If you are using the plugin and there is an issue with one or more functionalities on your website the excludes/filters options will be of help. You can find more information for them in the readme file, interface or directly in the code ??
Still if there is an even more specific solution needed in your case, I am afraid we will not be able to confirm if such improvements will be applied or provide an ETA when.
Best Regards,
ElenaWe have released a new version for environmens where this method is not supported.
You can update the plugin and verify the results on your end.
Thank you again for the reports!
Best Regards,
ElenaYou are most welcome, @roberthemsing!
There are many third party plugins handlers and styles we are excluding by default in the plugin. As most of them are widely used we aim to keep supporting them as much as possible.
Still our and other plugins are constantly changing, adding new features and improving their functionalities, releasing constant updates. So there is a chance for us to miss an incompatability. For the case we follow all reports here and in our internal support channels.
Best Regards,
ElenaThank you for the tests and cooperation!
