Managed to get it working using the WP Posts Filter plugin. Not perfect, but a workaround which does what I need it to.

I must agree – would love the option to change the height of sets as we go along! I’m happy to alter the height by going into the php file just now, but would be awesome if you could implement this option in your next update! Thanks ??
