In reply to: [TT Guest Post Submit] Error 302 and captchas not showingHello Rashed
Thanks for all your time and effort on this.
GD and Freetype libraries are installed.
Captcha appears on Chrome and now on Opera but still not on Firefox. Might be quirk. Usual browser cache clear, permissions, approvals etc.
Error page still comes up on form submission, but form is actually sent to admin for approval.
Apache error log no entries, no help.
However, I really need to be able to get email address, which does not get entered anywhere at admin, it seems[?]
Cannot find a database entry, either.
Many thanks and best wishes.

In reply to: [Facebook] Some Authors/editors cannot link their user account to FacebookI have posted several comments on these threads because a lot of people seem to be having similar problems to the ones I have encountered today and it would be nice to see this resolved.
It seems that things like the textbox to link to your Facebook page on the WordPress profile page not appearing and the various like and link buttons not showing up on posts and the entire comment section disappearing when the plugin is activated are connected with the browsers people are using.
The plugin and its features seem not to work properly in Chrome or IE but do work in Firefox and Opera. There may be other variations.
Perhaps if anyone reads this, they could jot down their experiences to see if there is a pattern and maybe it could be resolved.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Facebook] why default wordpress comment dissapeared ?Suggest people check this problem in different browsers.
It seems the entire comment form will disappear in Chrome when using Facebook comments and perhaps the same in IE but they may still work in Opera and Firefox.
Can anyone else test and confirm this, please? Thanks.

In reply to: [Facebook] Can't link WordPress account to Facebook account…Hello Jerrian
I have found that things do not work in Chrome.
The textbox on the profile page where you need to enter your Facebook page simply did not appear at all when I used Chrome.
I changed to Opera and the textbox appeared and everything worked once the details were entered.
However, the “Like” buttons etc which people may choose to use do not appear on Chrome and if you use the Facebook comment option, the entire WordPress comment section disappears in Chrome.
Much the same happens in IE, with buttons not appearing.
It works – for me, at least – in Firefox and Opera, which may allow you to finish your set-up, but the problems in Chrome and IE really need to be addressed if the visitors of sites deploying this plugin are actually going to be able to use its features.
At the moment, it seems a bit hit and miss, with the benefits being dependent upon which browser the admin is using to get it to work and which browsers the site visitors are using to either see or not see the buttons.
If anyone can clarify this or make suggestions, it would be good.
I would be happy to be proved wrong.
