I don’t understand what you mean by:

It depends on where in the header the css file for Testimonials, is linked – before the theme’s style.css or after.

Nevermind. I fixed it. ??

I created a child theme as per these instructions:

Make a new directory in wp-content/themes, and name it twentyeleven-child (or anything you like).
Save the code below in a file named style.css, and drop this file in the new directory.
Go to Dashboard ? Themes and activate your new theme, the Twenty Eleven Child.

I uploaded the file and I’m getting this:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
Name Description
Elaynechild Stylesheet is missing.
