In reply to: pages and navigation twenty-elevenHi David,
Thanks for the help. Here is the header.php code:[code moderated per forum rule - please use the https://pastebin.com/ ]
As far as #access, I have toyed and toyed with that section. I know the line you are referring to (although it's not 582 on my sheet?), and this does make the text color ivory, but only on the "The Laine List" and "About" pages. Which is why I thought it might be a template issue?
Thanks!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!Meh. I don’t think I want to anyway.
Esmi, you saved my sanity!! Thank you so much!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog! But here’s a question. Is there a way to assign my single post pages the showcase template?

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!I saw that – the twenty eleven style sheet? That is from my fresh install, and I checked in my FTP file and I see it there.
Oh, you know, FYI, I’m working on thelainelist.com site, not the tester site.
So anyway, I’m still having the page and single post page sidebar issue, but that is all now.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog! Thanks Esmi. I guess I feel like I either don’t understand where the errors are coming from, or they seem to be wordpress or theme errors.
I don’t know. I’m really frustrated.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!Good morning, Esmi.
With a little rest and fresh eyes and head I’m fine with the static page, thank you.
I’ve pretty much disabled all the plugins and things seem to be fine. I have no idea which plugin was the culprit. I tested them all, and things would be fine, and then they weren’t.
So my issue now is getting my pages to properly display my sidebar. For example, I can’t get the post to align to the left on the single posts page. I’ve been over and over the code, but I can’t find the right place. And now I’ve messed with it so much that I’ve messed up the pages, and the sidebar is once again aligning under the content.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog! That’s how it was set before the switch. I must have done that?

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!Sorry, I was fidgeting. It’s back. I also uninstalled all the plugin’s again. And I noticed, if I choose front page displays latest posts rather than a static page, all the posts are there.

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!Okay, I did all that, and still no posts. They are in the database and they are in the dashboard. If I click on a tag in the tag cloud on the home page, it takes me to a post.

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog! When I did that, I got the blank white screen in my dashboard again.
It did change, though, and it is the same issue with the twenty eleven theme. No posts, just a big comment area.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!Okay, I reactivated my theme, and I can see that page now. I wasn’t able to before. That’s good. Any idea about my posts and why they aren’t showing?

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!I went through and deactivated the plugins I didn’t need for the design. I think it might have been the “subscribe to comments reloaded” plugin, because when I deleted that, I got the same white screen. Maybe I can go activate my theme now?

In reply to: HELP! Can't see my blog!I did that, and I can see the site but no posts, no graphics, no css.
