Okay so I was told the .htaccess file has been set to default, the plugins are deactivated and wordpress was reinstalled and my site put back up. It appears to all be working from my end. Does it now for you? I still don’t understand how the plugins are working and supposedly deactivated when they say they are activated in my backend.

no errors at the moment but i still have to introduce my website content back in and try to isolate where the issue is again.

Okay so I think i changed https://marshallcustomcams.com.au/mcc-ua/ to https://marshallcustomcams.com.au/ and the problem still occurs. I reinstalled wordpress again but I am yet to put my backup files back. Now I can’t get to the wordpress login page and it doesn’t display properly.

I am getting the errors…

Well I have no idea what I can do now but can you give me a little more context.
where can I find this ‘wp-content/ folder’ and what do you mean by my sight being ‘under’ https://marshallcustomcams.com.au/? you mean the domain name? yes it is supposed to be https://marshallcustomcams.com.au/

thanks for your help! i would have no idea. I did as you said, reinstalling wordpress. Have the issues corrected?

I have made links instead that lead to a form that sends an email to place the order.

My mistake!!! I wasn’t aware that tags are compulsory for the form to actually show up in the email. All sorted. Thanks for your assistance.

Mail2 says you can send different messages to different recipients.
I don’t see how this helps?

I get a confirmation email that the form was submitted but i don’t get an actual form.
Is the submitted details from the form supposed to be in the email too?

From the above links you attached – In section 6 and B named ‘Message Body’
Message Body: [your-message] doesn’t actually insert a message. Is this where the submitted form detail are supposed to show up?

Mine says

‘WordPress was unable to save the your options to .htaccess or nginx.conf file. It looks like another process might already be working on the file. Please wait a few minutes and try again or contact support if the problem persists.’

and it does persist.

shortly after i was locked out of my dashboard/backend, i was told by support from my web host that it was a .htaccess issue and google chrome cache issue?

i have backed up through c panel, does this do the same thing?

I think it I am halfway to understanding. In my case, I am willing to ‘create a link/button that is a straight link to the special page’ but obviously not for members in this case.

So what sort of page could it link to, in order to confirm the order? Because it would need to notify me too. I am thinking it would be a link to send an email with a generic request already written, or a form. I don’t know how to do that but what do you think?

I also have this issue, except i receive the email only to say who the sender was. I expected then that I should check dashboard, that maybe the forms are stored there but I can’t find anything.
