Hi there,
Just getting back to this: We finally managed to solved the issue of social media cookies not firing. It was a question of a complex Matomo Tag Manager setup, and nothing to do with consent management software.
However, my question now is as follows: I have gone through the Wizard again, scanning the website multiple times with cache emptied and adblockers disabled, and added the appropriate social media cookies in the Integration section of the Wizard. However, apart from one Facebook cookie (_fbp), none of these cookies are shown in the cookie description, and they are not blocked in the cookie banner. As we are using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, there are quite many cookies in total.
Now my question is: Can this be a matter a time maybe – i.e. will complianz.io be likely to discover these if I give it a day or two, or should I just start adding these manually? As there are quite a lot of cookies, that would naturally not be my first choice.
Thanks for getting back. This is a bit of a complex setup. I have just discovered that the matomo.php file doesn’t currently execute at all for us, and as that is needed for the Matomo Tag Manager, none of the tags set up with the Tag Manager work. So it is a bit more complex than I thought, have to sort that out first. Thanks.
Thanks for your reply. I tried adding ‘?ao_noptimize=1’ to my url, but no results there. The Tag Manager has been installed by adding a Tag Manager code high in the <head> of the every page.I answered the statistics questions as follows:
Do you compile statistics of this website?
yesDo you anonymize IP addresses in Matomo?
No reply here (as I am not sure)Do you want to ask consent for statistics?
YesDo you want Complianz to add Matomo to your website?

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Social media cookies not firingRight, yes. I did the same comparison screenshots, too. I need to check the marketing person as to which exact social media cookies should be firing. THanks.
