    Hello @mdaxx

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

While WPForms Lite is positioned below our Basic level paid license, we still wanted it to be as useful as possible. I completely understand that you find the Phone field a necessity to your data collection, and while we do have a Phone Field that is available in the Basic license that starts at $49.50, we do offer the ability in the Lite version to collect Phone numbers.

While this approach might not offer the same set of functionalities and validation as Phone Field, in WPForms Lite, you can utilize the Single Line Text field to collect phone numbers by following the instructions provided in our documentation: https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-choose-the-right-form-field-for-your-forms/#single-line-text

We hope this alternative allows you to collect phone number information in your forms. Although it’s more limited than the dedicated Phone field in the Pro version, it should cover the basic requirements.

If you ever consider the Pro version of WPForms, besides unlocking the Phone field, you can unlock access to other useful fields as well, that you can read more about here: https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-choose-the-right-form-field-for-your-forms/

We truly value your feedback which helps us continuously improve WPForms.

If you ever need any help with setting up the Single Line Text field and configuring it to collect Phone numbers in the Lite version of WPForms, don’t hesitate to open a thread in our Lite Support Forum.

    Hi @taiwantop!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

I’m sorry to hear that you found installing our plugin caused you to waste time. Could you please share more your thoughts on what exactly caused the time to be wasted? Was there anything particular in the installation and setup process itself, or you found that there were any features lacking that you would want to have available in the plugin?

We take your feedback very seriously and we constantly make improvements based on your feedback. We would really appreciate if you could share your thoughts on this so we can consider making improvements based on that.

Thank you for your time. Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi @tribit

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on our pricing—we truly value your feedback and want to make sure we’re as clear as possible about our offerings.

Some features, like conditional logic, are included starting from the Basic license level, which is currently available at an introductory price of $49.50.

Our pricing model is tiered, with different features included at each level. If you’d like to see the full breakdown of features for each license, you can find it on our Pricing page.

Was there anything specific that might have caused confusion around the pricing? Your feedback is incredibly helpful, and we’d love to ensure everything is as clear as possible.?

Thank you for your honest feedback. We understand that being able to access Entries is important.
WPForms Lite focuses on providing users the ability to create basic forms and send email notifications, while some advanced features, like in-depth entries and reporting, are available in our paid plans. This setup allows us to keep the core plugin free and continue its development, but we understand if another plugin better suits your needs.

We’ll continue to listen to feedback like yours as we look for ways to improve WPForms for all types of users. Thanks again for taking the time to share your perspective with us.

    Hey @kermed

Thanks for reaching out and providing your feedback!

WPForms does offer distinct features in its free and paid versions, but we haven’t removed anything that was previously available in the free version.

For features like form Entries, these are part of our Paid plan.

In the free version, however, you can still take advantage of Lite Connect to back up your entries. By enabling ‘Entry Backups’ under WPForms ? Settings ? General, your entries will be stored in case you decide to upgrade down the line. You can learn about enabling Lite Connect feature here: https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-use-lite-connect-for-wpforms/

Further, you can also set up email notifications to have form submissions sent directly to your inbox in the free version of the plugin. You can check the following documentation on setting up your notifications emails: https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-form-notification-wpforms/

If any issues come up while setting these up, or if there’s anything else we can help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out on the WPForms Lite support forum. We’re here to support you in making the most of WPForms, and we appreciate your giving us a chance. Thank you again for the feedback!

    Hey @mymantra

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we really appreciate it. I’m sorry to hear that you found WPForms to be a significant factor in adding to DOM size on your site.

We do our best to ensure that the way we output elements on the front end is within optimal range.

When using the Page Speed test, the criteria for excessive DOM size is upwards of 1400 elements.

While WPForms or any form plugin will add to this when you add the form to the page, there might be other things affecting the DOM size that trigger this warning on PageSpeed Insights.

Adding nested elements within the page builder can contribute to this. Adding additional elements or shortcodes to render WPForms within a specific set of elements can increase DOM depth and contribute to this metric warning.

While DOM size is not an absolute metric of site speed, it’s definitely an important one. I would recommend going through specific steps highlighted in the following article that can help you reduce the DOM size: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-excessive-dom-size-in-wordpress/

If you need any additional support with this, please feel free to open a thread in our WPForms Lite Support forum.
