    Dear Annastaa,
I tried the workaround suggested by you, however it didn’t work for me.
I even tried to reset the settings of Annastaa filters within the Cutomizer options using the “Reset” button & to set everything from scratch. However, neither the colors, nor the margins etc. I set via Customizer, affected the appearance of the page upon reload.

I added myself some custom CSS rules at Filters >?Style settings?admin section of your plugin (it took some time since I am not an expert ?? ), and it worked perfectly. For sure, I would like to add some more decoration to this block of my site, though even now it I’m rather satisfied with the result.

Kindly advise regarding my next steps:
I’ve visited the contact page provided by you earlier, and I see that I have to send a message concerning the problem I’m facing. Should I describe all the steps taken by me before, or can I refer to our “troubleshooting dialogue” on WP forum, and just mention the problem, i.e. “any adjustments made through the WP Customizer, have no impact on the page appearance”?

Many thanks in advance for your help and patience.

    Dear Annastaa,

In step #2, I deactivated the plugin and after that I deleted it completely (using WP admin panel, finding the plugin in the list of installed plugins and choosing the relevant options one by one). Manual “Purge all Caches” was applied upon completion of each operation.

Regarding the suggested experiment, I suppose it worked perfectly!
Now the filter badges that are selected, have the color used in the suggested CSS rules (please check the relevant print screen for your reference). Moreover, I’ve checked the plugin .css file using cPanel, and I’ve seen that the relevant record has been added to it.

Therefore, as far as I understand, I have to make the necessary appearance customization using your plugin Custom CSS box, and not the WP Appearance Customizer.

If so, kindly advise regarding my next steps in customizing the appearance of your plugin (since I’m not an expert in programming ?? )

    Many thanks in advance.

    Dear plugin author,

thank you very much for your prompt reply. Below you can find a list of actions taken, in order to fix the problem:

    1) I excluded the recommended folder from my caching software (was using LiteSpeed Cache, uninstalled it, installed another one, W3 Total Cache, made the necessary changes, but no result);
    2) I uninstalled and reinstalled your plugin, creating all the filters from scratch. However I was surprised opening the Appearance Customizer, because it had all the setting ready (i.e. they were not reset after deleting the plugin).

You can find the .css file downloaded from /wp-content/uploads/annasta-filters/css?directory, as well as the screenshot showing the file permissions as I see them on my cPanel screen (if these are of any help), for your reference using the?link.

Really hope you’ll be able to help me to solve the problem, because your plugin is the only one that meets all my needs and I really enjoy it.

    Many thanks in advance.
