No multisite setup on the install in question. WPEngine creates dedicated containers for each install.

I recommended before that you add an option to disable the plug-in to be associated with the visual editor. I would recommend instead to disable it by default from the visual editor and add a option to enable it.

While you are working on this I would recommend to remove the feature all together and push out a new version ASAP. Until then it has to marked as broken for anybody using ad-blockers.

This plug-in can be useful, but I can’t enable it on client project knowing it can break their installation.

Your right, it’s the adblocker that is causing this issue. I would recommend you add a option to disclude functions from being added to the Visual Editor, in my case there is no need for it ?? If you would like help with it I would be happy to help out if you host your plugin in a git repository.

I disabled all other plugins and used stock themes when I was eliminating the culprit responsible for the disappearance of the Visual Editor. So there is no doubt that it was the Advertising Manager that was causing the issue.

But here are the plugin I’m using on the setup:

I just updated to the newest version of WordPress and the plugin and it still breaks the Visual Editor. I disabled all other plugins and tried using a stock theme and the issue still was there. Than tried disabling Advertising Manager and the Visual Editor reappear

Sorry, I was blind when I wrote this. I was no albe to find the settings for what I talked about in this post, but found it 10 minuts after writing this. Iapologise for my rant and will mark this as resolved. I got a bit frustrated and freaked out.

Same issue here,. This is a big nuisance and makes the plugin unusable if your server is using php 5.4. This should be fixed with an update to the plugin. I do not intent to make this change by my self. If anyone else that is working on the same WordPress site updates the plugin (updating is a security issue and cannot be avoided) the plugin would brake the site, unless this has been fixed.

Ok. I’m not very good with databases. What exactly should bee looking for? If I look into wp_em_events I only see the event that should be there.

Another thing is that I’m using a MultiSite setup.

Unfortunatly I have to revert https://inspiredbyice.staging.wpengine.com/ to the state of the live website so you can’t view this issue as of now. (Have to continue testing other things). The https://inspiredbyice.staging.wpengine.com/inspiration/iceland-airwaves/ will look like it works but its only static content so the issue has note been resolved ??

Just finished doing that. I deactivate the plugin, remove it and installed it again but I’m getting the same results.

This is a very strange issue and I’m just note sure what more I can do to troubleshoot it. ??

I switch to twenty eleven theme and disabled all plugins other than Event Manager. I than added a event widget with all event for this month and this problem is still occurring. You can see it by viewing the frontpage of https://inspiredbyice.staging.wpengine.com/ (This will only be viewable temporarily sins I have to use this domain as an staging area for the live site) . For an example “waterfallland”, “geysirland”, “uniqueland” and “508ebda441917.jpg” are not events.

I have another developent hosting for the same site where I was using this plugin for this development, the same theme and a very similar wordpress setup and I did not have this issue there. (The link would be dev.inspiredbyiceland.com/inspired/iceland-airwaves but it might not be accessible sins I’m waiting for some DNS changes to be updated)

So from what I can see this is not a problem with my theme ore any other plugins. The site is hosted on WP Engine. The dev.inspiredbyiceland.com is not hosted at WP Engine and will hopefully be accessible again soon.

I’m having the same issue using iPhone and iPad (using a simulator in Apple development tools). The plugin does not seem to recognize these devices as mobile.

I also want to point out that it would be important to be able to switch of mobile detection for iPads, ore possible choose a different theme for pads.

Can you tell us what the error was? I’m havning the same problem and not sure what it is.
